Well, So far, it's been a good few weeks working on the eBay auctions. I have found that there is something new to be learned every day.
My first mistake was selecting a reserve fee option (£1.30p extra) for one of my collectable 12" LP's. Immediately on seeing the charge that went on, I instantly withdrew it... but, the charge remained whilst the reserve option didn't.... so, beware, because when I asked eBay if they would consider re-imbursing the funds due to this mistake... they gave me the cold shoulder. Mmmm!
This periods 2 best sellers were not what I had entirely expected. Granted, the collectable 'Ash Distillation box set was snatched up almost straight away, but the big surprise was a brand new 7" vinyl EP by a band from the early nineties called "Long Haired Lovers.
Considering it was the start of my eBay experiences, the bidding was respectable and from a start point of £1.50, reached a total winning prize sum of a healthy £16.
Anyway, here are a few details of the 2 top selling items mentioned, for prosperity....
Long Haired Lovers
 Everyone has a favourite memory of times past visiting their local pubs and clubs as a young music lover. Maybe this item brings back memories for you. Someone out there will remember!
Biography It is thought that, in 1991, this band opened for a hot blues band from Hove, Brighton, called The Desperate Dan Band during a show at a top music venue in Manchester. At the time, they (Long Haired Lovers) were hot property on the circuit being watched by a few top labels of the time.
This 3 track vinyl EP was their first release on a label called "Insane Records". This item, is definitely a rarety and will be collectable by someone out there!
